These cards were sent to Elliott Hinkle by the offices of the President and Vice President after they visited the White House during the June Equality Month celebration and the signing of an executive order related to conversion therapy.
This book was written by local author and professor Brent L. Pickett. Elliott reviewed the book and contributed the Forward. This copy has an inscription from the author to Elliott.

In moving to Wyoming, Elliott had to surrender their Oregon ID and the X marker that was on it and instead use a Male marker for the Wyoming ID due to lack of an X marker option.
